Advisor Perspectives’ Top Articles in June Feature Everything From Buffett to Stablecoins
Advisor Perspectives had a strong mix of pieces in the top 10 articles for views on its leaderboard for the month of June.
Allan Roth’s “Lessons on Money & Life I Learned from Warren Buffett” claimed the top spot. Written in the wake of the famous investor’s announcement that he would be retiring from his position as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Roth outlines his big takeaways from decades of observation. Given the reverence in which the investing world holds Buffett, and the seismic impact of the news, it’s not a surprise this article saw the most views.
Roth also had a part in the second-most-read article in June, “Buy, Borrow, Die: Why This Popular Tax Strategy for the Rich Doesn’t Work.” He and William Bernstein co-wrote the piece about a particularly questionable tax strategy purported to be followed by the very wealthy. In it, they debunked the idea that the approach serves any particular benefit to those who use it.
Michael Lebowitz of RIA Advisors authored the third-most-read article, “Stablecoins to the Treasury’s Rescue,” which explains what stablecoins are and how they could have an impact on Treasury financing. Lebowitz is also the author of the article that falls into the No. 5 spot, “Narratives vs. Fundamentals: Battle in the Bond Market.” The piece looks to explain what’s behind rising bond yields through an examination of how fundamentals and popular narratives are influencing the fixed income market.
“Beyond the Exit: Why More Financial Advisors Are Choosing to Sell & Stay” by the Terrana Group fell into the fourth place in the rankings. It discusses why many advisors are looking to sell their practice while still remaining involved in the firm’s future and the drivers behind that trend.
